Enderly Park Easter Egg Hunt
The Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday March 31, 2012 at the Bette Rae Thomas Center was very successful. Over 100 members of the community came out to have some fun together. The event featured egg painting, face painting, a sketch artist, a clown and an air filled jumping gym. Kids got plenty of eggs and baskets during the outdoor Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny made an appearance and had children and adults doing the Bunny Hop. The CMPD came through with their Carolina Dog mascot to promote Operation Medicine Drop where participants were encouraged to bring unused medicine from their homes to prevent substance abuse. The Charlotte Action Research Project (CHARP) provided volunteers and donated food. Everyone got something to eat, had fun and enjoyed Easter tradition together.
